Boys and girls, it's mine and my mom's turn to do the story.

Today we're gonna be talking about God's Monogram, which is another name for an initial. But God only has one name, no last name, so he just has a monogram.

All right, I hope you're ready. Here we go. Have you ever seen the movie Toy Story?   It's a good movie, you should watch it.

And have you noticed that Andy wrote his name at the bottom of his...  Woody.   Woody, yeah, he wrote his name on there. If you notice the end is a little backwards. And then when he got older, he got a new toy, which was Buzz.   Buzz Lightyear.    And he wrote his name under his foot too. And so anytime that we write our names or our initials or our monogram on something, it's because we want others to know that it belongs to us and that it's important to us.

And the same way we still do that now. Is there something that you have your name on?    My wallet, my favorite book and my toys.   Yeah. I have it, I had it in my water bottle. I had it on my car keys. I have my name on things that I want everyone to know that, this belongs to me. If you find it, I want it back.

Well, uh I've been reading through my Bible. And I found in Deuteronomy 12, 11, it says, then there will be a place where the Lord your God chooses to make his name abide. And so it might mean that he will be there, but if you look at the map, it sounds like and looks like his monogram is actually there. So 2 Chronicles 6, 6 also says, but now I have chosen Jerusalem. for my name to be there and I will choose and I have chosen David to rule my people Israel.

So there's another verse where he's talking about his name being in Jerusalem. And so when I was reading Deuteronomy, he was guiding the people out of Egypt and taking them to Jerusalem. So here's a map of Jerusalem. And so you'll notice the valleys, it kind of looks like a three or a letter E that's laying down.

Um, so this is what it looks like. And that is actually the monogram for the letter Shin. Shin is the first letter in Shaddai, as in El Shaddai, which means God Almighty. Um, and so I thought it was really cool to see that he wrote his name on the that he wanted them with those three valleys, so marked by the valleys. And he also wrote it in our hearts. So if you can see, we overlaid it. These are the valleys in Jerusalem and it kind of resembles the muscles in our heart showing that God, our artist, decided that when he was gonna make our heart, he was gonna put his monogram on it. And so when someone ever asks you, Who are you? Who do you belong to? You always know. I have his monogram in my heart. I belong to him. So, do you wanna share anything?

All right, so let's stop sharing so we can pray. Dear Heavenly Father, we love you so much and we are so grateful that you have monogrammed us with your initial. Thank you that you were so thoughtful to include that in our bodies, to include that in your chosen land and that you just think of everything. Thank you so much, Lord, you help us feel so loved. Zeke?

Thank you God for this day. Make sure that we all remember that you wrote your signature in our hearts, now we know who we belong to. In Jesus name, amen. Amen. All right, take care. Bye.
